Monica is a recognized global thought leader with over 15 years of international sales, marketing and business development experience. She has helped technology companies of all sizes expand their footprint in markets as diverse as North America, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.
Prior to Vaporstream, she was a Gartner Sr. Director Analyst, where she served as a Technology Industries advisor and developed SMB research from the ground up, was lead analyst, and was awarded regional analyst of the year. She worked for several technology vendors, including TTI Telecom (now TEOCO), Amdocs and Openet (now Amdocs). She has also worked for TM Forum and served as Vice-chair of TM Forum’s Latin American Advisory Board, editor of Inside Latin America and as the author of the Latin America Insight reports.
Monica is a certified business and health coach. A multilingual professional, Monica initiated her career as a university research assistant, as well as a journalist covering economy and trade policy issues. Monica has lived in three different countries and holds a BA in International Relations and a post-graduate degree from Universidad de la República (Uruguay), as well as a Certificate in Marketing and Branding Strategy from New York University (NYU), among other certifications.
